Practitioner qualifications

Dr Rui Feitosa is a General Practitioner (FRACGP) with additional training in phlebology, including ACP-certified ultrasound in phlebology and a certificate in sclerotherapy. He completed surgical training in Brazil and has worked as a surgical registrar in Australian hospitals, as described on the About page. He does not hold specialist registration in surgery in Australia.

Individual results vary; no guaranteed outcomes

Outcomes from any medical or cosmetic procedure, including sclerotherapy and endovenous ablation, vary between individuals and depend on your own anatomy and health. Nothing on this site guarantees a particular result. A full discussion of expected outcomes, risks and alternatives occurs during your consultation, as part of informed consent.

No testimonials or before/after imagery

Consistent with Ahpra's Guidelines for advertising a regulated health service, this website does not publish patient testimonials, outcome-descriptive captions, or before/after treatment images.

Cosmetic and elective procedures

Some services offered (e.g. cosmetic sclerotherapy) are elective. Any decision to proceed follows a documented consent process covering risks, benefits, alternatives (including not treating), and cost, undertaken in person before treatment.

Referrals and access

Most services at IVC do not require a referral. Where a referral or external report (e.g. formal duplex ultrasound) is clinically required before a procedure, this will be explained to you directly.
